Villa Vinifera
Driving through the lush, green countryside of Nashik’s outskirts, your car purrs into Grape County, a prosperous cluster of vineyards, stables, and bungalows.
You take a lonely road and you stop at a gate.
This gate overlooks a green acre of land, landscaped almost as tidily as Tolkien’s Shire. You see terraces of varying levels, lawns sprawled beneath the French windows of the villas above, roofing the villas below. You see a pond, and the villa’s interior lamplights in its surface's reflection.
The architecture speaks in high stone masonry, wood, and glass: making pathways and yards private and then suddenly opening grand vistas of Grape County to the observer. You look upon the lay of the land. You see hills in the distance.
You realize this is where you can ferment your wanderlust—without having to move.
A little more About us
This is a sustainable settlement.
Nestled between shrub and tree, the message is clear: you don’t have to sacrifice plant life for architectural sophistication. Built to fully integrate within the environment, this house was designed around existing trees rather than the other way around.
Natural Material: The building philosophy is of ‘Truth to Material,’ with wood and stone in all their exposed glory. Large energy-saving windows face the sun, utilizing the eco-efficient elements of this building.
Rainwater Harvesting: This house has a million-litre-capacity natural well, connected to a water retention system that limits runoff. It includes self-sustaining electricity that is powered by the rooftop solar panels.
Layout: There are 4-bedroom villas spaced across the plot i.e., couples can expect privacy if coming in a large group. Each one has its own bathroom, lawn, and view of the countryside.
Technology: A 30 kV generator in case of load shedding, Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning.
Surroundings: Its proximity to the township helps guests get access to establishments and shops. Nearby are vineyards, stables, and lakes.
